Covered Sketchbooks and Journals

When I was satisfied that my new sketchbook was ready to go into the field, I asked a few artist friends to use it for a while and let me know what they thought. One piece of feedback I received was a request to cover the book in a soft, furry fabric to match a character the artist had designed. This turned out to be a great idea because the "furry" sketchbook caught on and was responsible for many of our early sales. From there, we started to include all manner of fabrics which allowed us to create lots of great geek culture favorites like Doctor Who, Star Trek and My Little Pony editions in addition to non-licensed fabrics. We even created photo fabric for one customer as a guest book for their graduation. We are currently at work in the lab developing other methods of covering books including decoupage and leather.
